Everything comes off my printer in one piece. The joints are already connected, so they move as soon as you pick them up.

How a print gets made
It's not one button. Here's what actually happens.
Pick the model
I pick a model and check the joints are spaced far enough apart to move.
Slice it
Software cuts it into hundreds of thin layers and plans where the nozzle goes.
Print it
The nozzle heats to 210°C and lays down melted plastic, one layer at a time.
Finish it
I take it off the plate, clean off the stringy bits and free up every joint.

About MJR 3D Prints
I started with one printer and a lot of prints that didn't work. Getting the joints to move took a lot of tries.
Now I print everything myself and check each one before I sell it.

Frequently asked
How do the joints move if it's printed in one piece?
There are tiny gaps built into every joint. The printer never fills them in, so the pieces come off the plate already separate. No assembly, no glue.
What is it made out of? Is it safe?
PLA, a hard plastic made from corn starch. Fine to play with, but it's not food-safe and can't go in the dishwasher.
How long does one take to print?
An hour or two for the small ones. The bearded dragon is the biggest and can run overnight.
Can you print something I design or find?
Yes. Show me the model or describe it and I'll tell you the price. Bigger ones cost more because they use more filament and more printer time.
What if it breaks?
Tell me. If it broke because of how it printed, I'll print you a new one. Glue works on PLA for small fixes.
Do you take custom colors?
If I have the color, yes, no extra charge. If I don't, I can order it, but that takes a few days and costs a bit more.
